2010 Dry Creek Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

This is the third vintage of this Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek Vineyard.  This wine is from the Dry Creek Valley Appellation and these folks 'get it'.  Thins wine is nearly colorless, but don't let that fool you.  Right from the beginning you get soul searching aromas of ripe citrus fruits and lemon grass.  This is a sweeter style of Sauvignon Blanc, and one that can be enjoyed with everything from hot wings to sushi to chicken, fish and salads.  In the mouth is a very vibrant wine with flavors that include the citrus fruits, orange peel and floral characteristics.  There is just a perfect balance of flavor and acidity and this is one of my favorite Sauvignon Blanc in recent memory.  I guarantee you'll love this one!
