2009 Blanchard Family Sauvignon Blanc
The 2009 Sauvignon Blanc from Blanchard Family is a Dry Creek Valley palate pleaser, and a wine that is a great pairing with fish and other seafood. Light yellow-green in color, the wine expresses lively aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit and citrus basket. With some air time this wine will also throw hints of spring flowers and fresh grasses. In the mouth is a light and crisp offering of citrus fruits, peach marmalade and pink grapefruit. Your palate will thank you for this great wine, and the acidity helps add to the long and lingering finish.
