2007 Sodaro Felicity Cabernet Sauvignon
September 17, 2011
The 2007 Felicity Cabernet Sauvignon from Sodaro Estate Winery is a wonderfully rich and focused deep garnet colored wine with definitive raspberry, black cherry, mocha and cedar notes. On the palate is a smooth and subtle wine that focuses on the fruit flavors but brings the mocha on board, joined by allspice, vanilla and tobacco leaf. The tannins are well integrated and provide a solid backbone for a wine that can be enjoyed now or for the next 12 -15 years. This wine is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 7% Malbec, 7% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
