2007 Abacela Estate Tempranillo
The 2007 Estate Tempranillo from Abacela Vineyards & Winery is their 11th release. Decanted. Red-purple ink in the glass, the wine initially presents itself with very ripe blackberries and black cherries combined with Mediterranean spices. The palate presents warm and ripe black fruits, spices of sage, nutmeg and white pepper, and dried rose petal. There are great flavor separations going on here that eventually combine with refined tannins to create a structured and lingering wine. This wine can be enjoyed now or within the next 10 years.
